The Southern Ontario motorcycle
market has changed dramatically in
the past few years. Many well known
dealers and shops have closed their
doors as their owners retired, leaving
riders stranded without a reliable and
reputable shop to service their needs.
| But a few years ago a new dealer
opened his doors on the north end
of Toronto. Located at the corner of Steeles and Weston, Kahuna Powersports
is an authorized Yamaha and Kawasaki
dealer, able and eager to service all
makes and models.“Toronto motorcyclists have been
feeling the void that resulted from
many dealers closing their doors,
and they know that there hasn’t been
anywhere for them to go for their
motorcycling needs,” says Alan at
Kahuna Powersports. “That’s why
we opened up this brand new store at
the end of October. We want to take
the stranded motorcyclists who are in
the GTA and take care of their needs.
Kahuna Powersports is raising the
bar on riders’ expectations of customer
service.”
 |
Kahuna Powersports is an impressive
motorcycle dealer. They service
motorcyclists as well as ATV riders
and snowmobilers exclusively.
But they’re not a car dealer, run by
car-type people. This is an experienced
crowd of motorcyclists and
they know what they’re talking about.
“We’ve been able to hand pick our
staff and we’ve got the best of the best
from other places in the GTA” Alan
says. “So if you’ve been wondering
where to find experts like Norm and
Greg in sales, Scott in accessories,
or Tony in service, you’ll
be glad to know that they’re right
here at Kahuna Powersports ready to
serve their long time customers, as
well as newcomers.”
Kahuna Powersports has a massive
service facility staffed with the
best factory-trained technicians from
throughout Southern Ontario. “We include
fast-lube while-you-wait service
bays, Wi-fi connection and entertaining
race videos to watch while your motorcycle
or ATV gets serviced,” Alan says.

SERVING ALL MARKETS:
Kahuna Powersports caters to the
needs of stranded GTA riders who suddenly
found themselves without an authorized
dealer to go to. “The recent feeling in
the Toronto motorcycling community
is that the new breed of motorcycle
retailer is less of a true enthusiast and
more of an automotive-type investor,”
Alan says. “So riders are going to pull
their motorcycles out of storage in the
spring and wonder where they’re going
to get them serviced. That’s a crowd that
we welcome since we service all makes
and models and we all ride.”
Kahuna also caters to the needs of
new riders. “We can help them get
into motorcycling since our staff is experienced
and will lead beginners in
the right direction,” Alan says.
|
The prices are right, and Kahuna
has easy financing programs in place.
They can fit you with everything you
need to get going including jackets,
helmets, gloves, and boots – whatever
you need to start riding safely and
whatever will fit your budget.
Kahuna also caters to women riders.
“This is one of our fastest growing segments,”
Alan says. “We stock clothing
that is tailored to women as well as
motorcycles that women feel comfortable
on and confident to control. We
take them right from the dream of riding
a motorcycle to helping them get
their licence to outfitting gear to finding
them a motorcycle they want, financing
it, arranging for delivery or pick up and
maintaining it over the years.” - Toronto Sun, Feb 14 2008 |
